I baked Chai Latte cookies, and now I’m blogging about it. Sometimes, you just gotta embrace the cliche-ness.
The brilliant minds behind J.Lau Sweets (www.jlausweets.wordpress.com) came up with this recipe, and I’m so glad they shared it because I had a lot of fun recreating it myself!
One of my resolutions for the year was to bake something once a month, just for the heck of it. I missed January (I’ll have to make that up!), but February consisted of these tender cookies with cinnamon-vanilla buttercream frosting and pictures to tell the tale.
I’m the kind of gal who likes to pull out everything I’m going to need before diving in.

This icing was so good. I could have eaten it by the spoonful. Oh wait, I kind’ve did.

Considering my baking experience equals basically none, I was pretty proud of the outcome.
