Last Christmas, my brother and I each opened a handful of gifts from our parents. Inside each, we found a different sum of cash and a small wooden letter. Once all the packages had been opened, we were to combine our letters to spell out a phrase, except, the parents did not do a great job at scrambling the letters (despite their claims that they drew randomly from a pile), and we had the whole thing figured out before we even had all the letters: trip to Hawaii!
At the beginning of the summer, we finally took that promised trip. We spent most of our time on Maui, and a little over a day in Oahu. I had a ball getting some experience with my new 50mm 1.4 lens (which I used almost exclusively to shoot the trip), and today I am finally getting said photos up. But first, a short travel vlog:

I love that you may have found the same street vendor with the birds. So glad you had an awesome time!!
